What happens to what you type, paste or open

Nothing leaves your device. Every tool on this site is JavaScript running in your own browser tab: the text you paste into the word counter, the image you open in the resizer, the PDF you merge, the token you decode. It is read by the page, processed on your machine, and shown back to you.

There is no upload step. There is no server that receives your files, because the site is a set of static pages with no application backend to receive anything. That is a property of how it is built, not a policy we could quietly change without rewriting the site.

The practical consequence is that we cannot see your data, cannot retrieve it, and cannot hand it to anyone else, including if we were asked to. It also means that when you close the tab, the result is gone unless you saved it.

Accounts

There are none. No sign-up, no login, no email address required to use anything here, and so no account records to store, secure or delete.

Cookies and local storage

The site sets no cookies. Some tools remember a preference, a chosen format or option, in your browser’s own local storage so the setting survives a reload. That data stays in your browser, is readable only by this site on your device, is never transmitted to us, and is removed when you clear your browsing data.

Analytics

No analytics product is running on this site. No page-view tracking, no event tracking, no third-party measurement scripts, and no advertising or tracking pixels of any kind.

If that changes, this section will name the product, say what it collects, and state whether it uses cookies, before it is switched on, not afterwards. Any provider chosen will be a cookieless one that does not build cross-site profiles.

Server logs

The site is served as static files by our hosting provider, which keeps standard request logs, the requested address, timestamp, and technical details such as IP address and user-agent that any web server receives in order to respond. These are generated by the hosting infrastructure, are used to serve the site and protect it from abuse, and are not combined with anything else or used to profile visitors. They never contain the contents of what you put into a tool, because that content is never sent.

Third parties

The pages load fonts, styles and scripts from this site’s own domain. There are no third-party advertising networks, no social media widgets, no embedded trackers and no data brokers.

Some pages link out to other sites, a founder’s LinkedIn profile, for example. Once you follow a link, that site’s own privacy policy governs what it collects. We have no control over and no visibility into that.

Children

The site collects no personal information from anyone, of any age. It is not directed at children, and since nothing is collected, there is nothing about a child to collect, store or delete.

Your rights

Data protection law gives you rights to access, correct, export and erase personal data held about you. We hold none, so in practice there is nothing for us to produce or erase. If you want that confirmed in writing, ask at hello@cadmeo.com and we will confirm it.

The team is fully remote rather than based in one place, so this policy is written to the protections that apply wherever you are reading it rather than to one country’s rules. Whichever regime covers you, the substance is the same: there is no personal data here to access, export, correct or erase, because none is collected.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the foot of this page changes with it. A change that affects what is collected (introducing analytics, for instance) will be described here specifically rather than covered by a general notice.
