The truth or dare generator draws from 10 truths and 10 dares, either mixed or separately. Both sets are written to a single rule: nothing that requires leaving the room, spending money, or disclosing something that would still be awkward tomorrow.
How it works
Truths are specific rather than sweeping. "What is the last thing you searched for on your phone" gets a real answer; "what is your biggest secret" gets a deflection, because the question is too large to answer honestly on the spot.
- Truths ask about something concrete and recent, a search history, a message, a wasted purchase.
- Dares are self-contained: they need no props, no other room and no cooperation from strangers.
- Neither set includes anything involving alcohol, physical risk or contact between players.

Frequently asked questions
Why are the truths about small specific things rather than big secrets?
Because large questions get deflected. "What is your biggest regret" is unanswerable on demand in a room of people; "what is the most money you have wasted on something you used once" gets a real, funny answer. Specificity is what makes the format work.
Are the dares safe to actually do?
They are written to be. Nothing requires leaving the room, alcohol, physical risk, or contact with anyone. The most exposing is letting the group pick your next profile picture, which is reversible.
Why only ten of each?
Because each was written to the rule above, and prompts that break it are worse than having fewer. Most published truth-or-dare lists pad heavily with prompts that are either unanswerable or genuinely unwise.
