The nickname generator pairs one of 30 adjectives with one of 40 nouns, giving 1,200 combinations such as "Amber Lantern" or "Tidal Compass". Three formats are available: adjective plus noun, "The" plus noun, and the same pair run together as one word for use as a handle.
How it works
Words are chosen for being concrete and picturable rather than abstract. "Quarry", "Lantern" and "Thicket" read as names; "Concept" and "System" do not.

Frequently asked questions
Are the nicknames checked against existing usernames?
No. The generator runs entirely in your browser and makes no network requests, so it cannot know whether a handle is taken on any platform. Check availability wherever you intend to use it.
Why are the words lowercase in the adjective-plus-noun format?
Because that format is aimed at handles and tags, where lowercase is the convention. The "The + noun" format capitalises, since it reads as a title.
How many nicknames can it produce before repeating?
1,200 in the two-word formats and 40 in the "The + noun" format. Within a single batch there are no repeats; across batches there can be.
